Mirror Work

When is the last time you took a look into the mirror and really saw yourself? Your SOUL? Have you actually really tried to make that deep connection?

Listen, self love isn’t selfish. It’s where we need to start first before we can fully and completely find love for others without expectations or falling into a “strings attached” kind of love.

Mirror work is truly healing. It is about learning how to embrace yourself as a wholistic being. MIND-BODY-SOUL. Its about coming to a place of finding unconditional love for who you are, all you have been through and stepping into your Divine potential and purpose.

Doing mirror work is one of the most loving gifts you can give yourself. It takes only a second to say, “You got this,” or “Looking good,” or “Isn’t this fun?” It’s so important to give yourself little positive messages throughout the day.

The more you use mirrors for complimenting yourself, approving of yourself, and supporting yourself during difficult times, the deeper and more enjoyable your relationship with yourself will become.

Positive affirmations plant healing thoughts and ideas that support you in developing self-confidence and self esteem, and creating peace of mind and inner joy.

The most powerful affirmations are those you say out loud when you are in front of your mirror.

I challenge you to say one kind and loving affirmation to yourself today! Start with “I am.....” . You may not believe it in your ego mind yet, but you soul knows these kind words to be truth. Keep it up!

It’s not easy at first. It’s challenging. Sometimes we don’t like what we see. Here’s the clincher though — what we don’t like in others is often in us too. So — if we can find compassionate love for our shortcomings, we can be patient and kinder to all we meet.

Just start by saying good morning to the beautiful being you see in the mirror each day — then start a conversation. You will be amazed what transpires.

Do your work. “Beautiful” begins in the Soul my Friend.
