Toltec Teaching Embracing Our Duality

Right Brain & Left Brain. (Brian and I definitely function more in one than the other and we make it work.) The goal is also to embrace both within ourselves. Here is more on this TOLTEC TEACHING

We live in a dualistic world. It is a reflection of two different flows of energy that are mirrored in our body and brains.

It is common knowledge that the left brain is linear and our right brain is non-linear. The brain is connected to the body in bi-lateral symmetry, which means left brain is aligned with the right body and vice versa.

Habitual patterns of thinking have us in denial of our real situation.

Humans die and our experiences in that crossover are directly dictated by our thoughts, beliefs, expectations, feelings and actions throughout our lives.

Modern brain imaging has shown that parts of the brain, that domInate resources, keep us in a default mode of living. In fact scientists call this part of the brain the DMN, the Default Mode Network.

It is a waste living your life by default, open yourself to new possibilities.

What we need is a bridge between the different parts of our brain and the different energies they reflect.

Brain imaging has shown that those that take Psychedelics, lucid dream, do sacred movement or dance, meditate, change ways of breathing, or act unusually, all exhibit the growth and enhancement of new neural pathways, when tested.

Unused parts of the brain light up, the plasticity of the brain is heightened and new neural pathways formed.

When the subjective and objective part of the brain talk to one another, then an experience of oneness is generated. We begin to see all human beings as our cohorts, not our competitors.

As competitors we may very well wipe ourselves out as a species. We have already wiped out so many species in our journey here, with our present neural conditioning.

Extract your destiny from your fate. Separate the two sides of your being, know their nature and bring them together in intelligent cooperation. - Don Miguel Ruiz
