Go Gently…

Go gently with yourself...

Sometimes there are events that happen in our lives that shake us up and throw us off of what we may have thought our lives would be or how we thought it may look. This can stir up feelings of anger, grief, sadness and resentment towards ourselves and others and it can make us doubt our spiritual walk.

You’re not off you path — your exactly where you need to be my friend. You’re experiencing now what will gift you patience, understanding, trust and kindness towards you and others around you — eventually, if you can allow it to happen for you.

When you have the perspective that life happens for you, you can stop battling all the things that bother you. You can accept that although things might not always go as you plan, there is always something better in store. You can breathe. You can live easier, live simpler, knowing everything is happening for your good.

2020 had been a great teacher in this way of being, thinking and understanding that things happen for us and not to us. Yes, taking on this mantra is probably easier said than done, but it is possible. And by doing so, you will feel free and uplifted knowing that although you might face challenges, their happening is part of a bigger plan. They’re getting you to the people and places you were already destined to encounter. Because that’s why you’re here.

You will always be guided to where you should be. You just have to believe that life happens for you, not to you. It takes as long as it takes, so be gentle with yourself going into the new year. There are great ups and downs. It’s in the valley that we struggle the most to find resilience, but if you can breathe here, listen, go within and find trust again you can move through....

My mantra for moving through 2020 into 2021 is ...

“Trust & allow me to accept the things I cannot change, to be wise enough to change what I can within me and to be present in the truth of each moment to experience authentic joy in my entire being”. - so be it.

Wishing you all a very special kind of New Years Blessing this year. One of reflection, release and acceptance of your journey and to find healing on the voyage.
